Bondi Beach
23.04.2006
Today was a great day spent at Bondi Beach. It's beautiful white beachwith amazing soft sand, just south of Sydney, and there's a lot of surfers there.. We took the train and a bus to get there and it was surprisingly easy. It was like a totally different atmosphere there, a surfer's city, kind of. Neat.
Great waves toady, but a bit windy for sunbathing.. I think we got a good tan, though, but we'll see tomorrow if we look like lobsters or still white Norwegians..
Yesterday we (that is Tiril, Heidi and me) went for a little sightseeing, we saw the Opera house and got to know a bit more about Sydney.
In the evening we got to know two of the guys we shared the room with, thery're English, and we also joined them at Bondi today. Nice to get to know other travellers!
Being a backpacker is something totally new for me, and I have to say it's very different from being a "normal" tourist. It's very social and so easy to get to know people. A lot of fun!
More updates to come!

Hei Rinamor.
